The museum is under construction in Brasília, Brasil. A pop-up museum with 4 out of the 16 installations has been erected for events. The museum is a novel concept where there are no objects on view – all content is digital and viewable through interactive installations. It is comprised of a white box, playing with the concept of white cubes of art galleries – with physical controllers. No content is shown, as visitors should play around to reveal the content, which is something deeply misunderstood by the population in general: the structure of government and the role that municipalities play in Brazil. The idea is that there is no museum without visitors, and it's their engagement that shows knowledge.
The installations content follows a path that tells a story. It starts with basic facts about the Brazilian political and administrative structure and how it developed over time. At the center, a ramp goes up and down along with restrictions or rights awarded to municipalities in the country. A final installation displays the history of the institution that sponsored the museum, the National Confederation of Municipalities, through a story that is told by adding news headlines about the institution since its inception.
In case there are any more changes in governmental structure the exhibition can be updated at any time, or even switched for special dates and events.

O museu está em construção em Brasília. Um museu pop-up com 4 das 16 instalações foi construído para eventos. O museu parte de um conceito inovador onde não há objetos em exposição - todo o conteúdo é digital e acessado através de instalações interativas, de forma que possa ser atualizado a qualquer momento, ou até mesmo substituído para ocasiões especiais e eventos. É uma caixa branca, brincando com o conceito de cubo branco de galerias de arte, mas com controles físicos. Nenhum conteúdo está à mostra inicialmente, pois os visitantes devem brincar com os controles para revelá-lo. A ideia é que não existe museu sem visitantes, e é seu engajamento que leva ao conhecimento.
